Lutheran Metropolitan Ministry

Julia De Burgos Cultural Arts Center

The family oriented center to serve the Latino youth and their families through programs and activities designed to foster cultural pride and art appreciation, is looking for a program assistant to work 30 to 35 hours a week providing support and assistance of grant-funded programming at the center. The Museum of Contemporary Art (moCa)

The premier site for contemporary art needs a development director and an engagement guide. The development director (DD) is responsible for designing, leading, and implementing moCa’s comprehensive fundraising program and oversees the development staff, budget, and systems—identifying funding priorities and opportunities for institutional support, and crafting and stewarding a comprehensive, strategic contributed income plan with the team. Four-year degree preferred, with eight to10 years of direct development/fundraising experience in a non-profit role. MoCa’s engagement guides are a diverse community of museum educator apprentices who guide visitors in their on-site experiences. Engagement guides move throughout the museum, welcoming and orienting visitors, supporting and customizing their experience, nurturing dialogue, caring for the art and architecture, and contributing innovative ideas to enhancing future onsite experiences. Must have an interest in education, museums, contemporary art; be motivated, reliable, responsible, and professionally oriented. Must have a minimum of six months to one year direct experience with adult learners.
