The Cleveland Foundation is looking to add a marketing and communications officer to their team. Primary responsibilities include managing the foundation’s social media properties, serving as the web site editor and serving as a communications liaison. Qualified applicants will have three to five years of professional marketing experience, excellent interpersonal skills and a bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field. MetroHealth
A research assistant is needed at the Center for Reducing Health Disparities at MetroHealth. This job holder will be responsible for collecting data through interviewing and observation, entering collected data into the correct database system. Cleveland Community Police Commission
The Cleveland Community Police Commission is looking for engaged and dedicated citizens to ensure there is a high standard of policing in Cleveland. Ten commissioner positions need filled, and applications are due by Thursday, Aug. 15. Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless
A development and communications coordinator is needed at the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless (NEOCH). Specific responsibilities include developing engaging fundraiser campaigns, maintaining the donor database and collaborating with volunteers, staff as well as the Board of Directors. Bond Accountability Commission
The Bond Accountability Commission (BAC), an independent, non-profit, all-volunteer organization appointed by the chair of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Board of Education (CMSD) in consultation with the Mayor of Cleveland, needs an executive director to monitor, review, assess, and report on the use of funds and construction progress of CMSD, serve as the primary contact for the organization on all matters, including media and public relations, and BAC office operations, including bookkeeping and budgeting, grant applications, and compliance.
