United Cerebral Palsy
United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Greater Cleveland serves children and adults with a broad range of disabilities through LeafBridge for Children and OakLeaf for Adults. The organization currently has several opportunities available, including director of development, transitional services supervisor, and job coach.

The director of development will work to strengthen the contributed income base of the agency through annual fund campaigns, special and volunteer events, and planned giving, as well as oversee marketing and public relations. The transitional services supervisor will assist the transition and jobs placement manager with program planning, development, expansion, and monitoring of transitional services. The job coach will provide on-the-job training and support to assist individuals with learning and performing a new job and adjusting to the work environment.

Union Miles Development Corporation
The Union Miles Development Corporation—whose mission is to improve the quality of life within Union Miles service area through community engagement, housing, and economic development via a variety of programs and services—needs a real estate development director. Responsibilities of this position include promoting, implementing, and overseeing housing and commercial development projects, along with other duties as assigned by the executive director for the improvement neighborhood. Slavic Village Development

Earnest Machine is hiring a full-time drilling specialist in its Cleveland engineering center. Earnest is looking for someone who is learn the machines and help their growing department continue to flourish. Candidates must be mechanically inclined, able to do repetitive work, pay attention to detail, use small tooling and calibration tools, and have a great attitude.

Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of Art is looking for a collections management department assistant to perform a variety of administrative services—including answering phones, handling department communications, and assisting with collections inventory. The candidate will be able to work independently and be familiar with museum registrarial practices and procedures.

Qualified candidates will possess excellent organizational, research, computer, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize work projects and work well under pressure to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and up to two years of related experience or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) is preferred.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park
The National Park Service is seeking volunteers to get involved at Cuyahoga Valley National Park by assisting staff in habitat restoration, or assisting visitors as a Trailblazer.

Habitat Restoration is an ongoing opportunity where volunteers can assist staff in removing invasive plants, planting native plants, and collecting native seeds. The opportunity is open to volunteers ages 10 and up. For details, times, and/or to register, click here.

Trailblazers are hike, bike, ski, and horse patrol groups who provide information, first aid, and bicycle maintenance for visitors. They volunteer in pairs on the multi-use Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and over 100 miles of hiking trails in the park. Candidates must be available for a 27-hour initial training and 40-hour annual time commitment. The training needs to be completed by June 2019.

Trailblazer applications are being accepted until Saturday, September 1—apply online at volunteer.gov. Those interested in applying are encouraged to experience this unique volunteer opportunity by shadowing a seasoned pair of Trailblazers during a bike, hike, or mounted patrol this summer or fall.
