FreshWater Cleveland
FreshWater is currently hiring for two positions: a managing editor and a project editor for the upcoming On the Ground community reporting initiative. Click here to read the managing editor job description. We are looking to hire someone starting in July.

The Fairfax project editor will be the point person for the On the Ground project, spending around five hours per week working from the neighborhood. This editor will work closely with our managing editor and partners to bring the vision to fruition by developing, writing, assigning, and editing stories; engaging with the community; managing budgets; and attending/planning neighborhood events.

A keen eye for story ideas, strong writing and editing skills, and a well-developed knowledge of the neighborhood are required—as well as the ability and desire to affect and spotlight lasting, positive change within the community. Cleveland Transformation Alliance
The Cleveland Transformation Alliance is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented leader to fill their Executive Director position. Ideal candidates will display a combination of experience in the nonprofit, for-profit, civic leadership, and entrepreneurial sectors, as well as "demonstrated results working with a high-profile, issue-focused, mission-driven coalition." The holder of this position must be passionate about the TA’s mission, as they will work closely with Mayor Jackson and the Chief of Education to achieve it. Grog Shop
Free concert tickets and plugging into local music culture are merely two perks to joining the Grog Shop Street Team. Specific tasks for team members include handing out fliers at concerts, making social media posts, and going on local poster routes. The Keenan Company
The Keenan Company is hiring a full-time skilled laborer. Qualified applicants will have a general knowledge of power tools and carpentry, as well as experience with finishing dry wall, interior and exterior painting, flooring/tile repair, major/minor remodeling, and more. The Begun Center
An administrative assistant with experience in finance, office management, and grants administration is needed at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education (part of the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University). A friendly, Microsoft-educated individual is wanted to fill the Office Coordinator position at Saber Healthcare Group. Duties include providing admin support, answering phones, greeting guests, and helping with special projects. Eligible applicants will have a high school diploma (or equivalent), as well as experience with customer service and phone systems.
