Girl Scouts of North East Ohio
The youth organization in Macedonia is looking for someone to fill the position of marketing coordinator and social media specialist. This person will be in charge of the marketing strategy, from content development to execution, distribution and measurement. Areas of responsibility will include advertising, publications, marketing collateral, social media, and media relations campaigns, as well as creating a production schedule, budget and tactical plan. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, advertising or a related field; and two years of marketing, communications, public relations or advertising experience. Cleveland Botanical Garden
The University Circle institution's Guest Services Department is looking to hire a garden train operator, a seasonal position starting in November for the annual winter show. Training is provided for the customer service position, which includes driving the train and loading and unloading passengers, operating a register, and managing customer concerns. The job, which includes evening, weekend and holiday hours, involves working outdoors in the elements. Retail and customer service experience are preferred. The North Olmsted office of the medical media company is looking for an executive editor. West Park Kamm's Neighborhood Development
The organization formerly known as Kamm's Corners Development is looking for a new executive director. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, effective communicator, and a strategic thinker with a high degree of integrity. This person will manage the day-to-day operations and programs of the community development corporation serving Cleveland's Ward 17, with an annual budget of more than $500,000 and a professional team of five people. A bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience in community development, economic development, urban planning, nonprofit management or a related field are preferred. This position keeps facilities and equipment in top form with regular maintenance, while doing audits, keeping inventories and creating reports. The person also will analyze network coverage and find ways to improve it. Candidates must have an associate's degree and two years of work experience and be able to lift 60 pounds.
