Holden Forests & Garden

A Chief of Staff is needed at the Kirtland botanical garden. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the management and execution of the administrative duties of the President & CEO role, exercising informed and independent judgment and initiative in keeping with institutional priorities, while operating with discretion and diplomacy. Shaker Heights City School District

The suburban Cleveland school system is looking for a full-time Security Monitor. This person helps maintain order, safety and security on school grounds and in school buildings. Qualifications include a high school diploma, knowledge of basic first aid procedures, and the ability to learn how to operate security equipment. The position pays $17.70 to $21.24 an hour. City of Cleveland

The city is hiring for the position of Paver Examination. Duties include preparing beds for and laying various types of brick and stone block pavements. Qualifications include four years of full-time paid commercial concrete work (roadways or buildings) and a high school diploma or GED. Salary ranges from $55,453 to $83,221 a year. University Hospitals

The hospital’s Rainbow Center for Women & Children in Midtown needs a Community Outreach Advocate. Duties include supporting the program manager and medical director for community integration in developing outreach strategies; and coordinating the center’s Community Advisory Board and Patient and Family Advisory Council. The private college in University Heights is looking for an Assistant Director for Community Partnerships. This position supports and develops university-community relationships. These mutually beneficial connections link student learning, faculty scholarship, and civic engagement. Duties include working with faculty each semester to decide on service-learning course objectives and developing new community partnerships based on course needs; and planning and hosting an annual Community Partner Meeting. The Cleveland zoo is looking for a part-time Education Assistant. Responsibilities include assisting with the planning of new programs and projects, completing administrative tasks, and assisting the Education Specialist or Education Manager. Qualified applicants will have an associate degree in biological sciences, zoology, graphic arts or a related field, as well as a CPR and First Aid certification and Blood Borne Pathogen certifications, or the  ability to obtain certifications during the course of employment. A full-time Advancement Coordinator position is needed at the University Circle cultural institution. Managing data, managing all memberships, and supporting the team and staff are just some of the responsibilities this position holds. The ideal candidate must have an undergraduate degree and at least two years of experience working with a nonprofit organization,  preferably a museum or other cultural institution, with proven experience in database management. The banking giant is searching for a “customer focused” person to fill their Operations Analyst position. Responsibilities include executing routine and complex processes, as well as ensuring the appropriate materials, documentation and capacity are available to complete transactions. The shopping center manager is looking to hire a Marketing and Events Manager to lead the marketing efforts for its North Olmsted location. Strategic planning, day-to-day marketing and community activity are just some of the duties for this position.
