Local filmmaker showcases Northeast Ohio in his upcoming movie “Calendar”

Highland Heights native and award-winning film director and producer Nick Muhlbach and writer Lou DeNardo will premiere their latest film, “Calendar” this Saturday, May 27 at Euclid’s Atlas Lakeshore Cinemas.

“Calendar” follows Anna Dews as she goes through family and relationship struggles during one year of her life. The story is uniquely told through scenes that take place on holiday celebrations or family birthdays.

Most of the cast and crew are local to Northeast Ohio, and Muhlbach and DeNardo filmed much of the movie locally—including 5 O'Clock Lounge in Lakewood and Miss Molly's Tea Room and Gift Shop in Medina.

“I met so many amazing people to build up this team,” says Muhlbach. “I'm excited to show the work on the big screen.”

“Calendar” begins at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 27 at Atlas Lakeshore Cinemas, 22624 Lakeshore Blvd., Euclid. Tickets are $15. The cast and crew will be to talk with the audience after the movie.
