This past summer Fresh Water reported on the work Making Our Own Space (MOOS) was doing to empower the next generation of placemakers. Over a nine month period, middle and high school students designed and built outdoor playground and public areas at Britt Oval in the Buckeye neighborhood.
Now the project is complete. See how these students came together to not only build what they designed, they walked away with some life lessons, a sense of accomplishment and the knowledge they had improved their community.
