And as we say farewell to a summer that was full up with sporting victories and a successful national political convention, there’s plenty to believe in - but that’s only half the story.
Nearly 40 percent of Clevelanders are living in poverty. Almost 60 percent of Cleveland’s children live in poverty. This is a reality we must face long after the crowds have disappeared and the stadium lights go down.
