Summer jam: CMA’s Summer Solstice draws revelers to celebrate the season

Thousands of revelers at the always-popular Cleveland Museum of Art’s Summer Solstice 2023 enjoyed an ideal summer evening this past Saturday, June 24.

The event took place on Wade Oval outside the museum and in the museum galleries while listening to live music from five musical groups hailing from Cuba and Toronto; Cartagena, Columbia; Barcelona, Spain; Cape Town, South Africa; and Cleveland.

Tickets guest enjoyed the music, museum talks, and all-you-can eat and drink menus throughout the evening, while FreshWater managing photographer documented the night. Check out his photos!

Originally from Conneaut, Ohio, Perkoski now lives close to the city in Parma. He has been Fresh Water's managing photographer since the publication's September 2010 inception.
