The phrase "party of the year" gets bandied about quite a bit, but rare is the bash that truly deserves the designation. One that does -- year after year -- is the Summer Solstice Party at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Held in the galleries and on the grounds of the world-renowned museum, the blowout attracts upwards of 4,000 revelers per year. This year's event is slated for June 25th.

Attracting them is a full night (and morning) of art, music, food and drink. Wisely, the museum offers guests various admission tiers. Those who want to come early and take advantage of an open bar can purchase Eventide tickets. Those who want to come a little later -- and spend a little less -- can snag a Twilight pass. Late-night partygoers on a budget can pick up a Solstice ticket at the door for just $20.

In addition to the non-stop music, the highlight of the night might be a massive video art installation, projected onto the museum's south façade. Created by digital media artist and Guggenheim fellow Kasumi, the piece will run all night offering a stirring backdrop to the night's festivities.

The Cleveland Institute of Art says this of the piece: "In her colorful midsummer's night dreamwork, Kasumi's signature eye-popping imagery flows in uninterrupted cascades into a polyphony of metaphysics, realism, pulp fiction, and Dadaist paradoxes."

Bands on tap for the night include jazzy Moon Hooch, Afro-Saharan Group Doueh, Chicago's Mucca Pazza, Dam-Funk and Sofrito Soundsystem, who will be making their Cleveland debut.
