78th Street Studios
If you explore 78th Street Studios, you are bound to stumble on many unexpected treasures — you will likely find yourself in a room packed with vintage pinball machines (Superelectric Pinball) or face-to-face with enormous low hanging light fixtures lined with clashing colors and fabrics by Dana Depew. The cavernous warehouse, which was once home to American Greetings, is now home to many galleries, studios, design and photo services. Cleveland Bazaar will be taking over several spaces in the studio, so explore the space while you shop.
The Bazaar Bizarre, Cleveland’s offbeat holiday crafts fair, hasn’t disappeared, its grown and morphed into the Cleveland Bazaar, and this year marks its 10th anniversary. This weekend, over 150 handmade vendors will display weird and wonderful items. Give your unconventional friends unconventional gifts and buy stuff you know won’t be duplicated. It’s free to get in, although you can buy a $20 early bird ticket. The ticket includes exclusive 9am admission Saturday and a limited edition Cleveland Bazaar 10th anniversary t-shirt.

The Flea is back again! Sporting 85 of Cleveland’s best baddest businesses, this time its emphasis is less on objects to make your home festive for the holiday and more on personalized holiday gifts. Saturday Morning Early Bird Tickets for $8 will get you early access and line cutting privileges on Saturday Morning at 9:30am (you MUST be able to arrive at 9:30 for guaranteed parking). Rock N' Roll Holiday Flea Market

Waterloo Arts District
There’s no better setting than The Beachland Ballroom for a rock n’ roll flea market. Saturday there will be over 30 vendors selling an eclectic mix up of good stuff, including vinyl records, cool crafts, vintage, housewares, art and memorabilia. The event is free and located on Waterloo Road in the center of a growing number of stores, art galleries, cafes and restaurants.
In the morning, Santa is also coming to North Collinwood for a special breakfast with the kids. Bring the family to Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School. Drink a beer (or three) and let Lolly the Trolley be your temporary designated driver. Friday from 6-10pm there will be Free Lolly the Trolley rides to over ten destinations in celebration of Tremont Artwalk and BrewHop.
The second Friday of each month marks Tremont’s ArtWalk, which will be celebrating its 22nd year in February. This year marks Tremont’s 4th Annual Tremont Holiday BrewHaHa. Enjoy specials from over 50 local businesses and restaurants all weekend! The Holiday BrewHaha Popup Shop will host over 30 artists and Tremont Farmers’ Market vendors and a performance by the Ohio City Singers, on Friday from 5-11 pm at The Grand Ballroom at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (2187 West 14th St.).
Kicking off Saturday’s celebrations is the 4th annual Santa Shuffle Tremont. This one mile untimed Santa race starts at 4 pm from Tremont Tap House and finishes at the North Pole, The South Side. Lasts year attendance included over 1500 runners in Santa attire; you must be registered to race but not to watch.

Weekend Ink Writing Workshop

You’re invited to join paper and binding experts on Saturday, to bind your own handmade journal. Lake Erie Ink is hosting Morgan Conservatory for a hands-on all ages weekend workshop. The Workshop will focus on several different folded and stitched bindings including the pamphlet stitch and zine fold. Choose from a variety of structures to bring your book to life and fill it with anything you can imagine. All materials will be provided.
After the workshop, check out the Coventry Village Holiday Festival with events taking place all over the neighborhood. This Weekend Ink event is free for registered Lake Erie Ink participants and $5 for all others. The program is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
