The Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series presented by Serpentini Chevrolet, which will produce seven Thursday evening happy hour concerts at various Metroparks waterfront locations, stats Thursday, May 18 and runs through Aug. 31.
The traveling concert series will feature seven iconic Cleveland Metroparks waterfront destinations including:
55th Street Marina, Lakefront Reservation
Edgewater Beach, Lakefront Reservation
Emerald Necklace Marina, Rocky River Reservation
Euclid Beach, Euclid Creek Reservation
Historic U.S. Coast Guard Station, Lakefront Reservation
Huntington Beach, Huntington Reservation
Merwin’s Wharf, Lakefront Reservation
“This summer marks a decade of transformation of Cleveland Metroparks lakefront properties since assuming management in 2013,” said Cleveland Metroparks CEO Brian M. Zimmerman in a statement. “Live music has been a great way to connect the community to our waterfront and Cleveland Metroparks Summer Concert Series presented by Serpentini Chevrolet is one way the community can join the park district in celebrating.”
Each week, top local bands will take the Wayside Furniture Stage from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy happy hour presented by Leinenkugel's, including a beer garden and variety of food offerings from Cleveland Metroparks concessions with food trucks at select locations.
Guests can also enjoy live music on Saturdays in July, beginning July 8 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at East 55th Street Marina and Emerald Necklace Marina.
Cleveland Metroparks is gearing up to activate summer operations, including seasonal dining and concessions, marinas, and water taxi service.
Lifeguarded swim areas will open Saturday, June 3 at Edgewater Beach, Hinckley Lake Spillway, Huntington Beach, Ledge Pool, Villa Angela, Wallace Lake.
