Something Super
Can’t get into Super Bowl LII? Swap out football for four-legged fun with the Puppy Bowl II at Terrestrial Brewing Company on Sunday, February 3, from 12 to 4 p.m. An indoor football field will be available for dogs to show off their football skills, and dog fashion will be on full display during the “Parade of Pupletes” (set to start at 3 p.m.). Moon Dance
It's the Lunar New Year, and AsiaTown plans to celebrate in style. On Thursday, February 7, the Maple Heights Branch of the Cleveland Public Library will be hosting a screening of Generation Startup: A Documentary, which covers the struggles and triumphs of six college graduates who risk everything to build startups. On Friday, February 8, Cleveland-based author and photographer Jeffrey Stroup will launch his new book Abandoned Cleveland at Visible Voice Books in Tremont. Highlighting decaying relics of the city's past, the book is the latest addition to the "America Through Time" series from The History Press and Arcadia Publishing. This One's Gonna Be Lit
Experience Shaker Heights’ annual festival of light art, Winteractive! Held February 7-10 at the Van Aken District, the festival will feature music, activities, and illuminated art installations from 4 to 10 p.m. nightly. Highlighted works include the "Loop" (a playful six-piece installation), along with installations by local artists Steven Gutierrez, Anthony Meyo, and Lauren Skunta. The opening celebration kicks off on Thursday, February 7, at 5 p.m. with refreshments and light eats provided for guests.

Black History Month on the Big Screen
On Wednesday, February 20, Karamu House will host a screening of “Lorraine Hansberry: Sighted Eyes/Feeling Heart” at 6:30 p.m. in honor of Black History Month. Space is limited and tickets are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, so register while seats are still available.

Shaping CLE
