Several Cleveland area companies have welcomed new faces onto their staffs. Here’s a rundown of who has accepted new positions.
BlueBridge Networks has hired two new team members. Larry Ferrini has joined BlueBridge as a senior sales agent. Ferrini is an information systems executive with more than 20 years of experience applying IT strategies to real estate, manufacturing, logistics, forecasting, inventory management, finance, accounting and marketing.
“Ferrini is a visionary, innovative, results-oriented individual,” says BlueBridge partner and managing director of business development Kevin Goodman. “He has a proven ability for creating and implementing strategic plans that enhance his employers’ competitive edge and promote growth opportunities.”
Roger Mitan has joined the BlueBridge team as senior technology engineer, data center solutions. Mitan is a native Ohioan with more than 18 years experience across a broad spectrum of IT technologies and disciplines. His experience includes engineering and administration in areas such as advanced networking, windows/nix systems, storage infrastructure, information security, cloud infrastructure and programming.
“Roger's expansive strategic and tactical leadership and skill sets and certifications bring deeper senior practitioner abilities to our team,” says Goodman.
Mitan previously worked as an engineer at MCPC; was CTO of Foundatia Technologies and support manager at McKesson.
Speedeon Data, a leading direct marketing and data solutions provider, appointed Brian Rainey to its board of advisors. Speedeon president and CEO Gerard Daher says the company selected Rainey for his strategic vision and experience building successful companies. He currently is president of Path2Response.
Speedeon also hired Marc Jerauld, a veteran sales and management executive, as its chief revenue officer. Jerauld is responsible for all aspects of revenue generation, including sales strategy and management, customer acquisition, and client strategy and retention. He has 20 years of leadership experience across multi-channel, direct marketing solutions.
Cleveland Transformation Alliance (CTA) has hired Piet van Lier as its director of school quality, policy and communications. Van Lier is experienced in education policy and communications, having previously worked at Catalyst Cleveland, a non-profit magazine created to report on the Cleveland school district before joining Policy Matters Ohio as senior researcher for education issues. In his new role at CTA, van Lier will ensure that every Cleveland student attends an excellent school and every neighborhood has a selection of schools from which to choose.
